What Is This Place?

This site is a work in progress - much like life, actually. I am an amateur photographer who enjoys playing with my Canon EOS 10D. Questions, comments, and suggestions are always welcome, since I'm really just learning. Like what you see? Encouragement would be greatly appreciated!

Labyrinth

When I look at this picture, I wonder if I could reach up and get lost in those branches, wrapped up in snow-white petals and kissed by the sunlight.

I like to look up into the branches of trees as I walk under them, without stopping my motion, to watch the branches and leaves at various distances from my eyes move across each other. I've always wanted to be a soaring bird skimming over the tops of trees and looking down into the depths of the canopy. Too bad the answer to the question "What do you want to be when you grow up?" is limited to endeavors undertaken by humans. My answer otherwise would be: "A hawk."
